Perhaps you should pay closer attention and stop whining about it being Flyer buzz? He was actually a good player before his knee injury and he has been playing well for the Flyers thus far this season, but yeah, 7th defenseman.
As a Leafs fan, I have no interest in Walker. They could have REALLY used Zadorov, especially for that price! Big missed opportunity there.
I assumed their focus must have been on Tanev, but is Calgary really going to sell off their defence when they are in a wildcard race?
Walker would be a really good addition to the Leafs I have watched him since his Jr A days
he's a reliable defender in his end
can move the puck out his end quickly
can bring much-needed scoring from the blueline
he's a right shot which the Leafs desperately need
I think he would fit perfectly on PP2 for Toronto

As a Flyers fan, I was not expecting much from Walker. He has been far better than I expected him to be. Would be a solid add to the Leafs. Adding 2 way play from the back end.

"Barely holding on" - They are 4th in the conference. Only 3 teams ahead of them. They have played like dog poop most of the season and are still near the top of the conference. But yes, they do need a big upgrade on defence. (likely 2 )

you were not expecting much because you have never seen him play less maybe a handful of times. You knew very little about him.
Barely Holding On? They have not been great but are 4th in the Conference with a .643 win percentage, on pace for 104 points. I agree they have not played even close to their potential, but they are not "barely holding on".

Don't they only have 5 regulation wijs?
Yeah.... that's not a good team no matter how you try to spin it that they are.
There is no 3 on 3 in the playoffs so I'd look a little deeper than the stats that you're using
They have zero salary cap.
Philly wants draft picks and the Leafs don't have any to bargain with.
Why would Philly want to trade him, anyway? He's been a bright spot on an otherwise below average defense.
This trade will never happen, and borderlines on ridiculous.
If you're gonna start a rumor, Ek, at least use some common sense.

How do you propose Toronto is going to do this?
