The 4th line was on the ice, and Frost jumped on too quickly and accepted a pass before Poehling could get off the ice. It was a bonehead play that I would not expect a pro like Frost to make.

It’s a bad pinch….in a normal coverage….but the D on the Flyers seem to be doing that deep pinch an awful lot that I have to think it’s at the behest of the coach. As the winger your supposed to be his protection…I must admit I don’t remember seeing a Flyer team do this quite as much…I mean down a couple of goals in the 3rd period you tell your d do it more…but the Flyers appear to want it all the time.

The issue is when the defenseman pinches, the forward needs to cover for him. It's a complete gaff when the forward that is supposed to be covering for the pinching defenseman also pinches. He should know better.

Leading to odd man rushes against. Farabee was again, too aggressive as F3 but the play starts with the bad pinch by Sanheim.

One of the loopholes in the AHL/CHL Age Rule is that a player who turns 20 by the end of the calendar year (Gendron was born Dec 30, 2003) can play in the AHL. It's weird because NHL Draft has a Sept. 15 birthday cutoff, which is why Gendron wasn't Draft-eligible until 2022. But that's why Gendron is in the AHL despite being draft-plus-two and not 20 yet.
