He has been good this season, no one disputes that. All I said was in the past few games he has looked bad, slow to the puck, off on his passes, not winning as many faceoffs. Tonight he looked a lot better. Perhaps he was hurt and he its got better, it not impossible.

Here is what you said. Agreeing with another fool who said that Couturier can barely skate out there

"I'm so glad you posted this because I have been seeing the same thing. Coots is often behind the play from the opening puck drop, has no acceleration up ice and his passing has been atrocious, leading his passes waaay too much. I wouldn't mind sitting him for a game and letting him recover. I know I have posted this a few times already but I will post it again, there something off with Couts, he is not right."

Followed by this gem

"Couts has been a very good player, but this year already you can see he is not close to the same player. I think he has another injury he is trying to play through, whether it's his back or a lower body injury."

Followed by this nonsense

https://www.hockeybuzz.co...p?thread_id=185901&page=6

"Is this all you know how to do, spew stats? I have nothing against stats but watch the games once in a while! If you did you would see what a lot of people see, that Couts is struggling right now. He looks fried out there. He has no acceleration and doesn’t seem to be able to keep up. Right now your constant attacks of me just make you look stupider and stupider!"

Let me guess, by your measure .. Morgan Frost.
- jd250

By my measure, no by the facts. Which you abhor because they make you look like a fool. The player you want to bench. Who you said everyone can see how bad he is playing. Owen Tippett! LMAO

Nice W and great game! I've only caught parts of the past few games so I'm glad I was able to catch the whole game tonight. Great to see Coots with a big game and loving seeing Foerster out there. Boosh just beat me to it - great game by Seeler and Walker too.

Yup, not denying any of this .. he has not looked right to me this year. He was just interviewed and said the exact same thing, that his game is still coming. I'm just glad he is not hurt, at least he would not admit it if he was.

BTW, this is really creepy .. you need to get a life .. .

Yes, he has 3 HD chances, and missed every one! That's my issue with him, along with the turn overs and the carelessness in his own end and the neutral zone.

He said the exact same thing? That he has no acceleration? That he is behind the play from the opening puck drop? That his passes are horrible? That he needs to sit out and recover? He said the exact same thing? Again, you're living in your fantasy world.

Who told you that despite not being back 100% to where he was, he was still playing really well? I told you that. That is quite different from the nonsense that you spew.

Nothing creepy about it. Just continuing to expose how clueless you are.

He led the team in individual scoring chances. 53.57 CF% xGF% 56.71 SCF%66.67% HDCF% 66.67% 0 charged giveaways. On the ice for zero goals against and you're calling for him to be benched! Again, you don't have a clue of what you're looking at!

Better but still very mediocre.

It was a fun game to watch. Both goalies were really good.

Tippett has had a couple of rough games with the puck. He's been quite sloppy and basically handed the Pens the tying goal the other night.

Eagles fans making Baby Huey their hero. WTF!! Dude shouldn't be there on the sideline clowning players. Greenlaw should have decked his ass if he was going to get thrown out anyway!

He had scoring chances and was fine in the offensive zone despite not converting on any of his chances, but I recall several times where he made sloppy plays in the neutral zone. I don't know what technically constitutes a giveaway, but I thought he wasn't so smooth at times. Just an observation. No benching needed!

I agree with you there. As security, he has no business interacting with the Niners player regardless of what he felt about the play. The refs were correct in removing him from the sidelines.

Frost/Brink/Tip looking better, it is really Tip who is short circuiting the play, trying to do to much, puck exploding off his stick, falling a lot for him. Tip settled in, the line should click.

I love the seeler/walker pairing

Foerster is playing flat out outstanding. Frost also had a whale of a game. Hey maybe leave him in?

Hart was fantastic. Farabee with the same bad pinch but doesn’t sit this time?

Did you look closer at Couturier in this game. See him go head to head against the top 5 on 5 line in the league and outplay them? See him with the center net drive on the Foerster goal that opened up the passing lane? See him on a key late back check in the 3rd period to break up a dangerous rush? See him score the winning goal in OT? All for a guy that you said can barely skate out there.

Tonight was the first time sanheim really stood out to me negatively. He looks tired. Fighting the simple plays

Sanheim has been struggling for about two weeks now with puck management and bleeding goals against.

He looked the same as he has looked all season. This idea that he can't skate is a figment of your imagination.
