See that's the rub. His defensive metrics aren't even good. Ok, Columbus (frank)ing stinks, maybe they are better here. I don't trust defensive metrics whatsoever when a player moves to a new situation.
Is this a Girgensons response? Because they need more than a Girgensons response to show some (frank)ing life here.

Yeah, it is more of the same to some extent, but I do think those numbers are a bit deceiving. He was on a horrible team and getting 30% o-zone starts...taking that into account, his metrics are just going to look bad. |

It's just another Stillman move. Cozens just called them out on being soft. Girgs is hurt, maybe a sign Greenway/Tuch are going to miss significant time. Pending UFA, they have some cap room, it's fine....as long as it's for next to nothing.

Did we forget how bad Murray looked all throughout this preseason? I mean, Robinson at least hits and makes opposing teams keep heads up. Murray seems to be the same guy without that perk. Murr can throw mittens better, that's about it.
Again, this isn't great, but I'm wondering why Murray is still sought after. I thought we were just joking about that. |

I honestly think he's better than Stillman, but time will tell. I thought the same about Greenway/Tuch, that might have been a catalyst here.
