I will guarantee you one thing. When the Sabres make the playoffs he probably won't be around but for sure he won't be around if they want the cup. His style of play won't help in any playoff run. Someone has it right. You or Don Waddell. I'll go with a winning GM on this one. - Freddie krug
Way it’s going a bunch of these players won't be here!

Robinson is big and is an excellent skater to get in on the forecheck, but he doesn’t want anything to do with the rough stuff. This year he fell out of favor with the Blue Jackets and wound up being waived and sent to the Cleveland Monsters. In seven games with Columbus he had one goal and one point. In nine games with Cleveland the 6'2, 205 pound winger had one goal and three assists for four points.
They had to fit a 4th standard deviation on his RAPM chart to show how terrible he is defensively.
Does he produce offence ? Yes.
Is he the worst defensive forward in hockey ? If he isn’t, he’s not far off.
What’s that worth to you ? - Swedish_Jesus
It wasn't a problem last year when they scored in bunches was it?
This team isn't deep enough that is the singular problem. You're making things up about Phil Kessel in an attempt to prove your point but this team is not good enough to succeed with or without him
When the top line ripped up the league last year it wasn't the reason they missed the playoffs either

There is a massive difference in acquiring a guy like this, and actually spending some assets to get a top six player a.k.a. Timo Meier that has some jam. - ImThatGuy
Timo Meir is what you consider a power forward….. not grit. Wrong type of player

Top line still got caved in defensively last year too.

Another soft player

Do you think Robinson is more than a short term injury plug?
