On paper KA probably deserves a chance to see what a couple more of his picks can do in the nhl.
Especially the guys traded for Eichel, Sam, Risto imo

Overpaying to bring back Jost is an alamring precedent. If Jost + Robinson are here next year, that's a problem.

I will wait to judge robinson until after he has 5 or 6 games with the big club

I give him credit for working his way up the charts during his time in college and getting a few nhl contracts which is pretty good for an undrafted american hockey player
