A little Friday hope:
Dylan Cozens 22
Kulich 19
Mittelstadt 25
Krebs 22
Benson 18
Peterka 21
Quinn 21
Rosen 20
Tage 26
Tuch 27
Dahlin 23
RyJo 22
Power 21
Sammy 23
Levi 21
UPL 24
Dark times despite the win, but the future still looks bright with this group. Might need a coaching change. Definitely need a couple trades...but there's blocks to build upon here. Having Dahlin, Cozens, Quinn, RyJo, Petey, Power and Levi all 23 or under, is a huge deal. - QuinnFan
You forgot the elite Ostlund, also don't forget the high first round pick next season added to this group, high probability it's a forward.

Dahlin has already been here forever. It's hard to grasp he's only 23.

Last night it would be easy to say that Levi is the reason they won, but they actually outshot the poop out of Boston the whole game. And the new guy looked solid. |

Lots of blocks to build on, and lots of blocks to use to better the weak areas of your team. Probably 5 to 10 other guys not even on your list you could add.
The Sabres could make a huge trade and still have a top 10 farm system. |

Ostlund, Wahlberg and Savoie aren't even in the picture, which is nice as they all look to have NHL traits. Only time will tell, but won't mind their ELC cap hits when they're here. |

Right, its' crazy that he could have a 15 year career and sign another long term contract. |

Peterka is becoming the guy for the Sabres, it’s impressive. - washedup20
well over half the board wanted him gone last year... shows how much most on here really know.

I forgot about them, with next drafts high 1st round pick, there will be 20 pieces to work with.
What would be your ideal roster for next season?
On a Scale from LLTom's cooking (the worst) to Homie's meme's (the best) what is your confidence level, Adams can build a winning roster? |

The war chest is overflowing, here's to hoping they've zeroed in on a couple higher end targets. I would love to grab Buchnevich from STL or Rasmus Andersson from CAL, doesn't have to be a top10er, but we need a couple guys who can come in and help right now. Both would be a miracle, but wouldn't mind overpaying for either tbh. Still wish we'd have paid for Sean Durzi before AZ swooped in. |

I do not recall anyone wanting him gone
a few like myself suggested that perhaps when the dust settles, he is a third liner not a second liner |

Seems misrepresented. Most wanted a trade and some weren't completely oppossed to including him.

Yea, I don’t remember that either. I personally said that he’s a logical candidate to be moved. I never felt like that was a popular opinion. |

Well I will say this, they have the talent to compete. They have played really well against some good teams and beat them. IMO Adams needs to learn how to finish a roster, Sabres need a couple Decent Glue player's and 1 more Dman. And atleast 1 of those glue guys needs to be able to answer back when Benson, JJ and such get a rough ride or a Face Wash. Doesn't need to be right then, but it needs to be known, this sh!t ain't happening anymore. Hathaway would have been the perfect signing, plus he can still play a bit. |

Sure, at this point the addition by subtraction plan should be in affect. The removal of the old useless Larry's might be enough to improve the team.
I would rather see this group share the captaincy every month over continuing to adore a mummy that a billionaire controls via xbox controller.

I think we need another power forward, Tuch 2.0. Buchnevich? Lindholm? Crouse? Grab an actual top4 RHD and trade away Clifton and let EJ walk. Andersson or Durzi would be perfect, but there's options. Personally, I'm all for adding a bunch to Mitts to take a shot at a 1LW too. I think he's too well liked and will resign, but those are the big adds. From there, we need a better Robinson. Need a true hitter that has elite PK numbers, so we can take Tage off that rotation. I don't want Tage blocking PP one timers ever again.
I have lost most faith in Adams, but there's still room to surprise. I would imagine this offseason is his last if he stays the course. HBU? Who would be a "great" add this offseason or TDL? |
