well I agree he does need more experience to help him out, doesn't mean he's a bad coach by all means. for example the senaturds just hired Jacques Martin again loll
- Pat1993

oh yes, I saw that one. good move by OTT. exactly what MSL needs.

might sound like an absurd number but if you consider those close games the habs lost it's not completely inconceivable that Dach made a difference for 5 of those.

never been a huge fan of Martin but I guess he's not a bad choice to implement more structure.

I was 100% joking but thought it was pretty stupid too start with the PP would not have been any different in his post

then one can easily argue Savard makes a big dif in pk too !

Or do those OT wins become regular wins?

Incrementally, we will never know. There would be some gains, but not significantly enough for this team to be dynamically better, given the underlying numbers defensively.

and it's not just Dach alone, he changes the top 6 altogether. who knows, right now maybe he'd be on fire as a 1C, with Suzuki producing more too on the second line because he isn't always playing against the opposition's top guys...

I'm under the impression that they'll probably finish the season with the guys they have in place, but changes will be made afterwards.
- Pat1993

Hopefully, that starts with putting Burrows in player development and getting someone else to lead the PP.

Hard to believe that MSL was a PP consultant prior to this with the results yielded thus far…..yikes. Completely obvious is their scheme and easy to shut down.

Sounds like their “concepts” are just letting players do whatever they want during whatever scenario. Seems weird

doesn't mean it's all on MSL.

I know the PP has been struggling for years now, but this is a team on a rebuild, we can't expect them to have a good PP or PK from the get go. it's not even been 1.5 years yet lol

i ran into an older biker couple arguing about soap. it got pretty intense. i like to think the argument was about whether or not they need to use it.

i just wanted some shampoo and string beans, you know? maybe a few of those scrubby sponges for the kitchen.

I never said it was all on MSL. But if you’re hired specifically for the PP and you can’t run your own once a coach??? AND, having assistants that aren’t that experienced……

I don’t think you can blame this on the rebuild. Our D is the youngest and leading the league in scoring from the defense. Can you blame that on a rebuild?? This team is very capable of scoring. But I think this “concepts” thing is too loosely applied and too easy to place blame on underperforming players.

I hope it turns around.
