I never said it was all on MSL. But if you’re hired specifically for the PP and you can’t run your own once a coach??? AND, having assistants that aren’t that experienced……

I don’t think you can blame this on the rebuild. Our D is the youngest and leading the league in scoring from the defense. Can you blame that on a rebuild?? This team is very capable of scoring. But I think this “concepts” thing is too loosely applied and too easy to place blame on underperforming players.

I hope it turns around.

he's been here almost 2 years Pat. how long does it take to establish a system? these guys are pros, played all their life. it should take a few weeks at the most!!
2 years later they still look awful in their zone, give too many shots, take too many penalties...

Oh, I’m patient with the process. But there seems to be some temporary roadblocks in place.

We don’t know the entire story behind management’s approach. So I just enjoy watch the games and seeing individuals improve. I wish Dach was healthy. He’d make a huge difference.

well they aren't all that far either, and the season is still young. it doesn't excuse everything obviously but it's hard not to think injuries are affecting this team heavily, and if you're blaming it all on coaching you aren't being fair imho.

I'm not placing it all on coaching, that would be unfair. but imo coaching is the primary reason yes, then injuries. the amount of time they spend in there zone is crazy. they would improve a lot faster if they had the puck more often, don't you think?
