Very unlikely anyone takes on the Coots contract. 2030! Unless the Fletch gets back in somewhere.

If he stays healthy and continues to improve ….I could see 2 years down the road or so him being back to tradable. Let’s see how he does. Guy didn’t play for 2 years.

I have the zona feed, the camera feed seems very close to the ice in this small arena. Kind of neat.

Nice goal teeks. Seems like there are 15 people there. Absolutely no fan noise.

Well played. I heard a let’s go flyers chant for a bit there. Haha what a solid and passionate fan base they have in zona. SMH

Ristolainen isn’t our best defenseman but was very steady last season. He played under control and seems to be trending the same way this season, as his season has just began. No credit for this? He’s just bad and will always be bad?
- roenick97

I agree with this. He's never going to be a superstar but he's been steady and gets the job done. He seems fine since his injury but of course, he's still a "3rd pair mediocre d-man at best" no matter how he performs.

Zamula leading all Flyers in 5 on 5 ice time in that period. Strong first period for Frost.

You have to win at some point. I doubt they're taken very seriously.

Your love for Frosty is perplexing. I have nothing against Frosty and want him in the lineup full time, but have barely noticed him tonight.

Well that's a fault of your ability to assess a players play. After the first period, when I made that post. With Frost on the ice, shot attempts were 8-1 Flyers, scoring chances 4-1 Flyers and high danger chances 2-0. I noticed him but I understand why you did not. I don't find your inability to know what is going on perplexing at all.

To update, after the 2nd period, with Frost on the ice, shot attempts are 13-5 Flyers. Scoring chances 5-2 and high danger chances 3-1 Flyers.

God it physically hurts explaining things to you. Michkov won’t be here for 3 full years. Konency is the best he’ll ever be probably right now. Hints what…? I’ll allow you to think this over.
- roenick97

let me explain it to you. You extend TK and give him the 'C'!! Why trade away a proven player that has tons more to give to the team??

Yes, I noticed Frost get set up by Foerster and instead of firing on net, hesitated long enough to let the coverage catch up and then went to his backhand wide. So professor, how do you assess that play?

The future? TK is 25 years old and is already a 30 goal scorer in this league, plays 1st PP and is one of the best penalty killers in the league! What more do you want? If anyone should be the face of this team, it should be TK! He is so much like some great captains like Bob Clarke and Mike Richards. I just don't want understand why anyone would prefer the uncertainty of draft picks. When you have a player like TK, you lock him up!

As a player that does not know when to pass and when to shoot. On that play, he should have immediately fired that puck lower blocker side knowing the goalie had to come across. I understand Frost is a playmaker, but he needs to shoot the puck there.

Of course, o great one, you are correct as always! I did notice him more in the 2nd, but please enlighten me as to how the great playmaker has made a difference on the scoreboard tonight? Does he even have a shot on goal out of all those attempts that you googled?

No, Konecny is 26 and will be 27 in March. What are you basing being one of the best penalty killers in the league on?
You wouldn't be trading Konecny because he's not a good player. You'd obviously be trading him because he is a good player that you could get a good return for.
Your statement about being a great captain is pure hyperbole.
You posted on and on and on about needing high draft picks to get elite players. Now it's the uncertainty of draft picks. LOL. One thing that is not uncertain is your inconsistency.
