Never said he was 35, but would be in his 30's by the time MM and Cutter are making impacts in the NHL. It is unrealistic to think MM will come over and be an instant superstar.....so a year or 2 to acclimate...Tk would now be in his early 30's.

I just think his worth is more to the Flyers as a trade chip and the return he gets in his prime, than what he will be bringing to the Flyers in his early to mid 30's, once this thing starts rocking.

Whether the Flyers decide to trade a player like Konecny, should be based on the return. In my opinion, part of the return would have to be at least either a top 10 1st round pick or a blue chip prospect. Preferably a defenseman. If they're trading him to a team that is a contender as a finishing piece for them. It might be unlikely that they have that asset. I would not trade Konecny if it does not include one of those high level assets as part of the return. The Flyers don't have to be in a rush to trade a player like Konecny.

You see, this is where you often become a complete a-hole! Did it ever occur to you that people's opinions might evolve over time as they see how things are playing out? I don't see the game now the same as I did 5 years ago or even 2 years ago. Likewise I don't see the Flyers now as I did 5 years ago or even 2 years ago. Just because I may have had an opinion about a topic even last year does not mean I cannot evolve from that opinion over time.

But in this case, it's killing you that the Flyers are a good team and may even make the playoffs, because if that happens you look like a complete ass with your takes about Torts, or my all time favorite jackass take from you, that Hefferty, Jones and Torts should be fired after only 20 games this season; or that Briere is being manipulated and bullied by Jones and Torts. And if the Flyers make the playoffs, it will absolutely kill you when Torts gets his 3rd Jack Adams award. It's also killing you to see a player like TK or Foerster thriving under Torts, because again it kills your narrative that Torts is nothing more than a dinosaur that is killing players like your boy Frost.

This is what you are afraid of the most after all, finally for all to see that your opinions are completely skewed by your hatred of Torts.

He spouted off the charts repeatedly and chastised numerous posters on how the Flyers need to add elite talent. The only realistic way to get that talent was to draft in the top 5. Over and over and over. Now I guess this current team, has changed his perspective. I guess they're on the path to the cup again in his eyes and the Flyers don't need that elite talent now. Hey, we have Konecny now, who is according to him one of the top all around players in the NHL and a better option for going to war in the playoffs than a true superstar in Pasternak who actually has a proven playoff record. It's just nothing but pure fantasy and constant flip flopping from him. He is easily manipulated, along with a complete inability to rationally assess any situation in hockey. Whether it's a player, a coach or a team. If you use reason or facts to show how he is wrong, you're an bumhole. He'll invent his own facts in his own fantasy world, and stand defiantly on his ridiculously absurd opinions. Only to when it becomes so painfully obvious how wrong he is, he'll try and spin his way out of it, or pretend he knew it all along. It is a mountain of a cluster (frank) of posting. Refusing to learn anything from anybody.
