Agreed. There's some young players, there's some roster players, and all it means is more along the lines of a hockey trade at this point likely. Tre has room to manouver and make a deal especially with Klank now Robidas Islanded.

Yup... Wings crapped the bed. Awful game to watch. They deserved to lose.


Kane hit the post on one of his shots... almost got his first one as a Wing. He looked pretty comfortable out there from what I could see. Time will tell how it works out for him.

I can tell you that none of us Wings' fans thought Kane was going to pick Detroit... given he had several elite teams that wanted him. Wasn't sure if he'd want any part of a rebuild. But we are happy that Yzerman only gave him a one-year "show me" contract which is low risk.

I think the Wings will keep getting better... but our dumb coach still thinks putting Husso in goal is a good idea. Ugghh !! Lyon has played much better and should be the starter by default at this point. Once our prospects Edvinsson and Danielson are in the lineup next season it will get interesting.
