don't think I've seen the commercials you're talking about but it strangely reminds me of this Folgers commercial parody, makes me laugh every time
but yeah sometimes I get something in my eye for dumb little stuff, for example I remember this IGA animated christmas commercial (IGA is a grocery store lol) about a little girl slowly bonding with her grandfather while playing hockey with him and learning how to be a goalie, I'm like "ugh why are you doing this to me" haha - Pat1993
that vid is nasty but hilarious.
we have grocery stores called IGAs too. i see it on the boards during games so i googled it a while back to see but i think they were different companies.

oh yeah. i just looked again. same company but now someone else (sobeys) bought yours and kept the same name for the IGA stores.
i also just read that a bagger at one of your IGAs hit the lottery for 70 million dollars. i could live on that, i guess.
love these kinds of olden days pictures - kicksave856
holy poop...
and yes it is a cool pic, just the cars alone are frickin' awesome. if I was a rich mofo with a big garage and lots of money to spend I'd have one of those bad boys in there for sure.

Evening Pete, things aren’t great, still not working because of my bloody back and since the teachers are on strike, im now giving French, Maths and English lessons to a 6-year old every day…it’s as good a hobby as any really lol. As for not writing for a couple of days, had bad news back wise and needed time to get over it, two days isnt that long is it? - Karine Hains
Hey K, that’s terrible news about your back, I thought you had knee issues too.
Write when ever you feel.
I was more concerned about the broken pattern of a blog almost everyday.
And you know that Petey doesn’t read most of them anyway.
Also I’d fire the whole god damn lot of those teachers in a heartbeat.
I think we do kinda get each other most of the time Pete, we just have very different mindsets about some stuff here and there, and that's totally fine.
in this particular context I had no clue what your stance was concerning the teachers' strike, but for a second there I thought you were implying that they're just a bunch of spoiled brats who have nothing to protest about, which I definitely don't find is the case.
i feel good. these kind of things make me feel good. and i can see how much it means to you and it makes me happy for you and your mom too. - kicksave856
completely unrelated and perhaps it's already been brought up but Allen isn't making the trip to Buffalo, which creates even more speculation lol - Pat1993
Primeau is getting the start and I assume Monty will be the back up sitting on the bench
I know what you mean but I dont think there is much more to read than that
then again, I really think they should go with monty and Primeau for the rest of the season
Primeau has been getting more starts as of late (sorry mathias brunet) but even after monty signed his contract, he is not used as the clear srarter. He should be

yeah I think at this point pretty much everyone agrees that Allen is the odd man out...
I was just kidding with the speculation thing, I have no idea if there has been legit interest from other teams to acquire him. there probably is but there aren't many organizations that have any actual cap space, so that's probably been the main hurdle for the habs to make a trade.
I'm not sure what you mean though by using Primeau as a "clear starter", do you mean a 1A-1B kind of thing with Monty? personally I want Primeau to see lots of action and continue to develop as much as possible but I wouldn't identify him as the habs' definite #1 goalie, I would see no point in doing that.

No
I meant that even after he signed that contract, Monty is not used as the starter. Primeau is used as a back up now and thats ok. He should be.
But they all play once every 3 games. Thats fine for Primeau but not enough for Monty.
I just read Allen is likely vs the predators
like I said, one game every 3 games for everybody
then again, if they still want to trade Alllen and not just send him to Laval, I guess they have to play him

yeah but at the same time with an experienced veteran goalie like Allen you know what you're getting, I don't think the habs need to "showcase" him or whatever to other teams, but I guess a few solid performances from him could help persuade potential trading partners, although his cap hit might still represent an issue.

Until this team gets better defensively overall, and much better goaltending, not sure it really matters who they start most games, who they trade or who they keep.

well if your opinion is that all the goalies the habs currently have all suck balls, then of course it doesn't matter lol
