Shohei Ohtani just posted on Instagram that he’s signing with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Poor Toronto

- AGalchenyuk27

well we might still have a chance to see him play, perhaps Legault could take another few million dollars from the provincial budget and have the Dodgers follow the Kings when they'll be visiting next year.

so per year he'll be making slightly less than an NHL team's annual salary cap.

There’s been nothing good about this entire (frank)ing ridiculous escapade. (frank) that dude with BingoLady’s cock!!

poop is getting way out of control for athletes.

Give that to hospitals, doctors, emergency response teams, fire departments, to infrastructure.

Not to a (frank)ing DH in the MLB!

Thank god I quit watching that paint dry…

And well deserved???? 😂🤣😂🤣😂😂🤣

Fido has dementia

- Snots33_77

he's the best player since Babe Ruth a hundred years ago. even at that price the team will still make money. no brainer imo.
of course you do not have to agree, but that doesn't change the facts.

Nobody should make that for hitting and throwing a ball Fido.

I understand the business behind it. But we ALL fail and are worse off by this thinking and skewing priorities as to who our heroes are.

And Babe Ruth…….hardly a roll model.

Best thing to happen to Toronto. Now they can keep Leafing their way through life.

Obviously I do. And I understand the world we live in too old man. Hence why this is so backwards and stupid.

And all of the pomp and circumstance only for this (frank)ing retard to move down the highway??? And the weird secrecy and making all of these teams bow to his presence.

If you owned a business, would you hire someone that has you by your grey pubes from day 1?? You have zero leverage against this player.

Good luck! For a (frank)ing DH!! 😂🤣

The Devils beat the Flames today, and they did it even without Shohei Otani.

while I totally understand your point, relitavely speaking I guess his salary makes sense for the league he's in... we obviously don't see those kinds of numbers in the NHL but if baseball players can become billionaires it's because of how the wealth is distributed around their league, and it sure seems they're making a poop ton of profits.

when you really think about it, even hockey players (who are probably the "poorest" of pro-athletes) are making wayyy too (frank)ing much. heck these millions and millions of dollars should be given to brain surgeons or scientists doing research to find a cure for cancer, not to a guy that pushes a puck around with a stick.

that being said, I do agree the "well deserved" thing is sort of pushing it considering how much (frank)ing money it is, oy vey lol. but if that's his worth in the sport he plays in, then so be it I guess.
