yes. i think the people are probably animal lovers and naming their channel dodo and using it as a mascot is probably a good way of reminding people of like "hey, here's a cool video of my chinchilla doing something funny. ps, can we please not kill off chinchillas from the face of the planet? thanks."

but no, don't worry, chickens will never go extinct, they reproduce rather easily, and they're just way too delicious for us to let them completely disappear.
