Kids are at home because of the teacher's strike.
It's my turn to get the day off at the office while the girlfriend handles the joy of working from home.

I remember la 3-4 week teacher's strike when I was in grade 7.
If I recall, it happened after the Christmas holidays, so we had 2 significant school breaks that year, sandwiched in between summers.
So much Atari got played....

One of the first things we had installed after the cabin was completed.
A 16kw Generac plumbed into the natural gas.
Never ending power..

Got the geny installed also but I knew it was a small incident. 90mins.
I fired up the BBQ, made eggs and mushrooms and stuff and coffee. By the time I was done cooking, power was back!
Now have a nice fire to warm the house this afternoon. |
