Pitts vs MTL

Pitts played last night against Phx and won 4-2, their PP finally woke up with 2 goals (they were something like 0 for 36 before that).

Pitts and MTL both have 27pts, Pitts played one less game.

I say...survive the 1st period, Habs win 4-2

they play like crap at this time of year, its a running joke

it usually starts early in december

I would not expect them to be playing good on that date

meh, I don't think they're expected to play well any time of the year really, doesn't change anything.

Back in the late 70s and early 80s (and maybe the still do, not in touch with them), but my dad's side of the family use to do Christmas presents on New Years day, they went shopping on boxing day and the days after Christmas sales to get presents cheaper.

We had been playing with our gifts for a whole week before they got to see their stuff. Was a fun taunt.

Now the discounts are not as steep (and pretty much the same as before Christmas), so it is a different.

Pens win, mostly because Montreal has forgotten how to score goals right now.

Pens whatever > 1 and Habs 1.

yeah, I think boxing day isn't as crazy but it's still a thing... personally I hate shopping in stores so it would have to be a pretty good deal for me to go out on that day, a lot of sales happen online now anyway.

Yeah, I do 80%+ of my non-grocery shopping on-line, since I work from home, I am always here for the delivery.

Still like to pick my own food, especially the fresh fruits, veg and meats.

Jake Evans is their 2nd line centre right row

yeah

and having Anderson playing there with him does not help

Its easy for other teams to defend against Suzuki and Caufield if there is nothing more to do

at least Slaf is strarting to get more and more confy

Who knew a 19 years old could still grow as a player? amazing
