She's being smart. Numbers on this site are lower than ever and for the lowest of views it was "insert $" per month that basically covers two weekends of groceries for a "family" of 2.
- AdamFrench

who speaks of groceries in terms of weekends ?

People eat on the week too Adam !!!!!

Nobody ever gets the full data, but the last time I blogged fulltime I got 300k individual views. Karine probably gets that now and she should get way more.
- AdamFrench

yeah, I get what you're saying. the way I see it is she could be using this platform to at least have her name out there, while creating other content elsewhere.

Not this time as the potential arbitrators were already agreed upon before negociations began.

Next time though!!!

Ill take Harris playing on the right over Kovy. So many turnovers...
- braidan

He was a good waiver wire pick up, filled in a gap when we needed it, has been mostly steady (but ironically played a lot better with Harris).

I'd keep Harris, as he is the better player.

When a few of the other guys come up, then the real tough decisions will have to be made.

its a bit messy cause there is a lot of unions on strike at the same time, not all of them being with le front commun, a bunch of different unions to begin with

either way, none of them is happy with the gov and the way talks have been going, if you can call that discussions

Anecdotal and the forum engagement doesn't strictly speaking equate to overall views, but this site would generate 400+ posts on a 2 day blog guaranteed on any of the big teams (Leafs/Habs/Sabres/Philly/Canucks etc.) and 30-50 on the smaller ones, 5-15 on the dead ones (Columbus or Carolina RIP). Now every blog can't generate 50 to save their lives.
- AdamFrench

That is what happens when you do (frank) all to improve / modernize the site, offer anything new.... basically, some level of investment.

That, and the absolute lack of credibility, will end this (maybe once was a somewhat) cashcow into oblivion fairly soon.

so you would keep playing Harris on his wrong side?

pretty much what will happen once he comes back, whenever that is

if everyone is healthy by then, which is kind of doubtfull I guess

Yeah, Harris being put on his bad side hasn't helped us see his full potential imo.

Just like last season when they had to put Guhle on the right side because some vets like Edmundson "just couldn't do it".

Potentially Matheson too imo. Depending on how things turn out with Hutson, Mailloux and Reinbacher.

I think in an ideal world Ghule would by then step up to take Matheson place, but he has to stay healthy to begin with

a lot of things can change in just 2 or 3 years. too much ?? left and right

Hutson might be closer to Tyson Barrie than Makar for all we know

The NHL is the best league in the god damn world and people forget about that

Do you trade Harris or Kovacevic?
Harris probably gets better offers, but KOvy is starting to scare me

- braidan

Keep the right handed D

Kovy should only be playing on the 3rd pair or as a 7th

Harris has played 91 NHL games so far, Struble 12... Struble has looked great but this conclusion is way too hasty imho.
- Pat1993

Struble plays a different style.

Harris is soft and won't get you many points in a season. Good kid and smart but he's missing something.
