Evening Pete, things aren’t great, still not working because of my bloody back and since the teachers are on strike, im now giving French, Maths and English lessons to a 6-year old every day…it’s as good a hobby as any really lol. As for not writing for a couple of days, had bad news back wise and needed time to get over it, two days isnt that long is it?

Kind of been stuck in the same state for like 3 months…nothing seems to help aside from lots of painkillers that make my head spin and prevent me from being able to concentrate, not ideal when your job is to do legal research

The kid has got ADD so if u don’t keep him busy, he drives you up the wall (or even off it) so it’s self preservation really lol. Also got us a couple of Christmas lego sets to build so that keeps us busyin the afternoons

I wouldn't go that far, Youppi is still a staple, despite costing more than a stripper to have him dance in your section...

besides for some reason most people hate Metal and were basically mad about it when the habs first introduced him, which is a bit odd considering this should be something more for kids to enjoy but whatever lol.

I do think it's a lot of nostalgia with youppi! (Do the Montreal canadiens really need a mascot?) If the Atlanta Braves started using Thrash as a mascot, we'd agree it's dumb.

Guys, I don’t know how to explain this…..

But a girl from my home town, that I do t really know as she was my exes friend from work….sent me a message that she had moved from that small town to the SOO!! Her and her partner bought a house there and found something in their basement t.

Turns out, it was my father’s metal lunch kit from the INCO mine in Sudbury. His name is on it and still has a salt shaker, fork and knife in it. Has the employee number on it and everything.

Made my mother cry tonight as she verified it all! What an amazing early Christmas present as my father passed 10.5 years ago of lung cancer.

The universe works in mysterious ways, fellas. I wish you all the best in life. This brought me to my knees
