Leafs will win one before McDavid reaches free agency - Canada Cup
I hope so.
They’re probably closer with this roster than anytime since 2002. |

I remember I wrote somewhere, after the Matthews draft, that both Oils and Leafs would win 2-3 Cups within the next 10... |

Leafs winning a cup will always be the biggest possible sports story in Toronto.
Ohtani could win 10 World Series in Toronto, but it wouldn’t be as important as McDavid bringing a cup home. - Arctic_AARDVARK
Lol leafs arent wininng a cup. Heck, McDavid would be wise to sign elsewhere, he'll just lose more here. Its the leafs way.
Yes a leafs winning the cup for the first time in 60 plus years would be bigger, because the jays have won a world series.
But that wasnt the premise
Ohtani is bigger than McDavid.
Sadly neither will probably come true.
Well i see mcd signing with the leafs if they have cap space and actually show they can win more than one round. |

THIS IS CNN BREAKING NEWS!!
🚨)>-IMMINENT TRADE-<(🚨
From my proven sources around the league: “The Chicago Blackhawks are looking to speed up the rebuild by trading rookie defenceman Kevin Korchinski. The Toronto Maple Leafs have expressed interest in the highly-touted defender. Leafs GM Brad Treliving had reportedly made his decision on the direction of the franchise after the Leafs narrowly defeated the Atlantic division worst, Ottawa Senators.”
WOW! This is huge news!! - Arctic_AARDVARK

The Jays should focus on winning one playoff game, and then their first best of 7 series in 30 years.
They're not even in the same league as the Leafs, literally. It's not even the same (frank)in sport. |

Saros was projected to be out 4-6 weeks with his. This is a better injury for goalies than hips or groins |

Yup, far better. Here’s hoping it doesn’t take too too long for him to get back into being ready to be the starter again. Also, in the meantime, here’s hoping Samsonov uses this opportunity to find his game and play it stable. |

Not sure how this is gonna go. Dont think anyone at this point is real confident with Sammy. And that includes Sammy. Half expecting partway through the game a goalie change. This should be interesting.
Plus side is it could have been and looked worse with Woll. Tricky injury but hopefully wont be too long. |

Forgot Broberg who wants out of Edmonton.
As for the 3 Kraken D forget Larsson, that one isnt happening. I'd be surprised on Borgen too. RF chose re-signing him and letting Soucy go and are high on him. Dont think they're giving up on him yet and they're somewhat thin on d depth. Really it's more likely Schultz and Dumo if they move d.

This,
Also wasn’t the premise.
Jays haven’t won poop in 30 years. After a certain amount of time it doesn’t matter, it’s been too long.
McDavid would be a much bigger deal in TO and it’s not even close. |
