At the time, I get it, this is purely retrospective. We should've grabbed Wallstedt if we were drafting, given the need, but I still don't think Isak was a bad player to choose there either. We'll see what he looks like next year after he's finished bulking up. - QuinnFan
The mentality of the team under the current management.
Just keep waiting another year.
All the prospects will eventually all turn out great. |

No, that makes sense. And I think I did say muscle, so my fault there, 15 in an offseason would be over the top expectation. Maybe 5-7?
I think, if he can get a little stronger, he really could be a 2nd line winger one day. He just distributes so well and his shot is really spectacular for his age/size. We knew going in he was a project pick, we just need to give his body the chance to catch up to his mind now IMO. - QuinnFan
What kind of borderline miracle would it take for Rosen to be a 2nd line winger on the Sabres, and how many seasons would it take?
So many prospects in this org., and quality current players on the roster to overcome for Rosen. |

Rosen to me fills Olofsson’s spot next year.
He has the look of a middle 6 guy. |

Haven’t played a second of losing hockey with Brett Murray in the lineup, he’s the spark this engine needs. |

Doesn’t have the points to show for it but he is having quite the season for an 18 year old.
Could say Eichel’s was better, but he’s pretty close through 20 games.

He’s a great fit with Power also.
Can’t wait for Samuelsson to come back so he can watch from up top again though ffs |

Eichel was at BU at the same age as Benson is now. |

It’s amazing how good this team looks when their top 4 d-men (Dahlin, Power, R Johnson, and Joker) are playing with one another and playing big minutes.
Glad it took Dahlin and now Samuelsson getting hurt for the Meatstick to finally figure it out.
Wonder where we’d be right now if that jamoke could utilize his roster properly |

Yeah that is true. Being 7 months older at 18 years old is definitely a huge difference.
Both debuted as early as they could have in the NHL though and it’s the closest comparable I got because Reinhart didn’t last past his 9 games.

Robinson has been a good surprise, that net front presence is a piece the Sabres have been missing. |

Nice pass Cozens, Robinsons speed on the forecheck is nice. |

I didn’t realize how fast he was, honestly might be the fastest guy on the team |

Yeah, he can fly. If he can find his hands could score some goals here with his set of tools and willingness to go to the net. |
