You know i enjoy the debating, i know i get frustrated in game when i see a play like Vlasic and Bedard deciding to stop skating on the play.

Outside of the games to me there's no rush. Time is on our side we have young players trying to learn a very difficult game at a very difficult speed. We have over 50 games to go this season no point in defining anyone's career who hasn't hit their prime yet or is even close to it.

It is frustrating anytime a player kind of quits on a play. I think the team in general looked kind of gassed at times last night. I thought as well on the 4-1 goal that once Vlasic thought he was getting a tripping penalty, the Hawks kind of started watching and not fully engaged in trying to defend.

I think he'll learn the other stuff that is needed in the NHL, and it shouldn't take too long. Stuff like winning draws, defending, and knowing when the shift is over. In the meantime, that feed to Murphy last night, how many rookies do that?

Every player has a bad game occasionally. His mistakes (too long a shift, etc.) are fixable. I just brought it up because of course the Murphy was a -2 chorus come up. Well he played with Zaitsev and on his off side.

I just brought it up with Jones and the blocked shot last game. He has had IMO the past 2 games especially playing big minutes a game worthy of a #1 defenseman. But I guess Cale Makar, Victor Hedman, Alex Pieterangelo, etc. never make a mistake.

And I really would like to know where this Phillips is not aggressive enough come from? Even before last night, I think he is a physical defenseman. And has more talent than the other "physical" defenseman the Hawks are carrying (Tinordi)

I guess I should check my streaming feeds for the games. They definitely are not showing the same games as the rest of the board.

There's a way to fix it but the league won't - on a clean hit no penalty if somebody attacks the hitter he gets an 2 minute instigator plus 5 minute fighting major and the player forced to defend himself gets no penalty even if he fights.

While I agree with this, in the heat of the moment, how do you determine if it’s a clean hit or not? Many times you need a second look to make that decision.

That post was not about Bedard, it was about Reichel. Found open ice in the slot, made himself available, got the feed and blasted Grade A attempt. Poked it loose to Entwhistle low slot from the side of the crease for a doorstep Grade A shot.... Reichel was responsible for two Grade A's.

Doesn't seem like any good reason for scratching him 4 games in a row, maybe trying to get him claimed to go elsewhere or they have no plans to re-sign him end after this year.Or was there some kind of misconduct team is staying quiet about? He's an RFA with arbiration rights. Decent 4th liner, much better player than Johnson.

He is figuring out what he can do and can not do. But your right not going to beat three opponents by himself it's not juniors. Bedard will be fine

How is that fixing the problem? The problem is you can’t hit any more because you have to fight once you have hit someone. Guys like Tom Wilson are the problem in cases like this. Or do you want to see less hitting in the game?

No doubt. Boris had to have been resisting coaching or just pissed off some who matte...... Cuz on this roster I stand he's a top 6 guy.
