now does goodrow waive for a deal to any of them? I think Mtl for sure, possibly Seattle (Gourde), Blues yes, SJ I think so, OTT probably not, Calgary unlikely.

I thought about Eberle also, kind of like Strome. Former Islander comes to NY. I still think they get a center tho

Goodrow is likely not going anywhere via trade mid-season.

I refuse to believe that 🤷🏻‍♂️if Drury wants to improve the team they need to have a conversation. 15 teams is alot of teams. Otherwise we probably can’t do much. They aren’t punting the season that’s for sure. Right now it’s all rainbows and whatever the saying is lol but come playoff time, I’m not sure we’re deep enough up front. Jmo

And im Mr Optimistic saying this. Last year we saw what happens when we can’t score enough, and currently we don’t even have much offense as last year

The AHL kids hopefully can make an impact this year where they couldn’t last year. But seems like that’s not something they’re in a rush to do either

Devils scare me. They can beat us imo right now

Don't encourage the fantasy league/EA sports-ify-ing of trading someone with Goodrow's contract mid-season. Not happening, so let's discuss something more realistic.

Plus, I think with PL's added emphasis on the team coming together and cultivating a championship mentality from day 1 this year, management views him very differently than those who make trade proposals on the internet

We need to know what Chytil and Kakko's status is before going down that road. I think Drury will be extra hesitant to mess with any team chemistry, especially trading a leader in the room, after last season.

I think the fact those two are hurt increases the likelihood of Goodrow being traded. If they weren’t then yea I’d agree he isn’t going anywhere

Let’s be real. Goodrow isn’t the person holding this team together, they don’t need his leadership they have enough now

It’ll take attaching a 1st rd pick which if you’re not on board with that, why? We’re this close to a cup

until you trade him, and you wonder what happened in the 2nd and 3rd periods when they come out slow and unmotivated down 2-1.

I'm not sure "Mr. Optimistic" is a good name for someone that trades away 6 players per day!!

You playing both sides? No trade and yes make a trade? I’m confused

We need one player, a 3rd line center. I’m not asking for the moon here

Did you guys see this report that Ohtani is deferring 680 million of his contract so that the Dodgers can continue spending?

Hes essentially letting the Dodgers pay him via Klarna.

Well that’s what I mean. I’m not sure how they can add someone of substance (not a scrub)unless they ship Goodrows contract. Maybe we could hire Harry Potter? magic dust or potions to do it🤔

It’s clear they aren’t LTIRing anyone or they would’ve done it by now

He is one of the few players that can do this because he is already banking $50mill/year just from his endorsements. He actually doesn't need the Dodgers $$$ for another 10 years!

Oh yeah, Goodrow would love to move from a contender to a team likely to miss the playoffs.

Holy crap! How much is he owed? How much will he be paid?
Nevermind, just saw Tommy's post and I can't conceive that much money.

Seriously though, he is still available in my league and at the to of FA. We had picked up Wheeler when he was producing and just dropped him for Nyquist.
