Im not saying Vesey IS a 4th liner, what Im saying is sometimes you end up with a combination of players on a line together that just works. Right now, for whatever reason Vesey, Goodrow and Pitlick work. They drive the play, theyve had numerous times where they cause havoc in the offensive zone setting up other lines to not only get a rest but also to score. I would rather they double shift Vesey than break up that line because I think its integral to the way we play.

Maybe iam nuts, but isn’t it more important to have a better first line then it is a better 4th line? You know the line that plays upwards of 20 minutes as opposed to the one that plays 10-11-12 minutes?

Vesey could be like Vatrano. Different skill set, but what I mean is his whole career he was deemed a 4th line/13F and then all the sudden a light bulb goes off and he becomes this player in the top 6 you can actually rely on in a bigger role, and he could thrive. Vesey definitely matured since his first stint and is now older and can maybe handle the pressures a little better
