I pay a higher tax rate than any of the billionaires in my country - which isn't hard to do since most of them don't any taxes at all, or get free handouts from the government. Socialism for the rich, capitalism for the poor.

You are, and no ones ever cares what you think.
Its usually just foolish nonsense

- Fakepartofme

You obviously do.

You try to disagree or have some silly remark for everything I say, you are getting very childish. Grow up a little.

Or just don't respond, pretty simple my man.

I have lots of good convos with quite a few on here, if you have a problem just do not respond or just at least stop showing your obsession with disliking me, it is getting too obvious and sad to watch.

It's a solid draft.
- AdamFrench

A lot of solid talent in that draft.

Kreider - Tavares - Reilly Smith

Hedman - Ekholm

Kuemper - Lehner

It's funny how they seem to think we aren't "great" any more in the first place? Why not? They have a very low opinion of themselves and their country. What does "great" mean exactly? I have a hunch it's a lot like "woke" - it doesn't have a firm definition and it usually translates into whatever the person saying it doesn't like.

Great = things I like.

Woke = things I don't like.

Probably structures those contracts to effectively defer a large chunk of those too.

Ironically, the highest income Canadians actually pay less in taxes than their American counterparts. 🤷

Soler...just a DH, no defense and runs like crap. but the Jays need HR?

No, another 3rd pairing guy
(which we have lots of)

Top 4 dman required

- mr.sir

I would agree with this in general - that a Top4 would be the best option.

But I can't believe a physical 3rd pairing guy wouldn't be a big help.

Islander's got Bortuzzo for a couple of non-top round picks - Zadorov was also not expensive...

having someone who can contribute on the PK and eat some d-zone minutes is needed more than another "offensive" guy

I can't believe the radio talking heads when they refer to Tyson Barrie being available - what the previous 'experiment" wasn't disasterous enough? A defenseman that can't defend AT ALL is not what is needed.

JD Martinez could be a fit.

That Japanese pitcher.

Might be a player they can trade for too.

I think a trade is the best option to make a decent impact.

I dont think Yamamoto ends up with the Jays. or its really unlikely

there's effectively no limit to what teams in MLB can pay players - or how.

there's no reason to believe that he would spending his own money for a house or houses, for cars, or anything else

he might just "get by" on 2Milly a year

Yeah I mean there's lots of comp for him for being a top 2 pitcher.

I could see a scenario where Jays overpay...but not sure if thats the way to go.

I haven't checked out the trade market enough but is it possible they sign Yamamoto and package Manoah and another pitcher? I think Jays will be striving to do something significant.

As he should. Who else would top him? Hedman as a defenseman?

Hot take: trade Sammy for picks/prospects when Woll is healthy, go with Woll + Jones.

Use the cap space with Klingbergs (rip), trade for Savard, Parayko retained and have an extra few bucks to boost up the bottom 6.
