Ugh I don't know why I do it but I always mixed up Cechmanek with Patrick Lalime.....it's not even like they look or played alike. Brain cramp!
- Cush29

Easy way to remember:

In game sevens, Cechmanek would never inexplicably try to make a catcher save when Niewendyk throws a weak wrister blocker-side.

Odd observation, but here goes:

I’m switching back and forth between the Leafs game and the Dolphins game, and the football game is just so much more visually pleasing.

Bright green turf vs. dull white ice.

More closeup shots (because of all the stoppages in play).

For someone not invested in either sport, you’d probably be drawn to football on your TV.

My issue with the NFL: there's about 11-12 mins of actual gameplay.

It may be pretty but it's dull as (frank).

They should allow fighting in the NFL. I might watch it then. Just like if NASCAR could guarantee a good flaming wreck in every race, I might watch.

We'll have to see how the Leafs fight through it, but this is Islander-friendly officiating. Not necessarily biased, but the Islanders are more interference-based and the whistles appear to be away.

Marner just seems off. Makes nice plays every once in a while but misses so much

Not saying I’m right but overthinking and not trusting his gut enough is the vibe I’m getting. I know it’s not solely one or the other, but too much of one can be the heart of being off

He’s terrified his dad is going to do the floss during a TV timeout.

Timmins just likes, game in and game out, making me regret thinking he's a legitimate top-4 option with time and patience.

I know he's coming back from injury (after injury after injury), but God . . .

Plays are just dying on his stick and he's too easily bodied off the puck.

The reason we lost tonight is waaaay too many low percentage passes.

Just desperately throwing pucks away.

Leafs are going to tie this. We need it to be JT to tie it and then JT again with the OT winner as the dagger in the hearts of Islanders fans.

I’m Sure some of them are just waiting to come chirp in here tonight.
