They were all over the Islanders it was coming but for JT to get an assist is extra delicious.

On that GWG Marner can’t go behind the net in the offensive as soon as it’s clear Matthews is shooting Marner needs to cut hard and stay in front to come back on D which he didn’t - ends up as an odd man rush the other way and boom goal against and game over.
Marner was not good tonight at all.

I’ve given up on Sammy.
Every chance and shot feels like it’s going in.
Last year was a mirage and probably more due to the leafs being pretty great defensively for him.
