Haha just like they drew it up, SH winner.
Dobson’s keep on the 3rd goal was amazing and Fashing (and 4th line) flying all night. What a pick up Reilly was too. - potvin05
Team has speed on each line, and they are no longer easy to defend.

Also, a heart attack to watch. - potvin05
Trying to win each game 2-1 was not easy as well.

Not sure if it's been discussed here, but it appears Pelech sustained a broken hand, not wrist. (Based on a recent photo) - keaner17
Where did you see an image of his hand?

Just reading Bruins placing Jakub Zboril on waivers. You may, or may not, remember him as the first of the three consecutive picks the B's had in the 2015 draft. Pretty amazing the players drafted after those three picks...
"Zboril was the first of three consecutive picks that Boston made in the first round of the 2015 NHL Draft...Noteworthy players selected after Boston’s trio of picks include Mathew Barzal (Pick 16), Kyle Connor (Pick 17), Thomas Chabot (Pick 18), Joel Eriksson Ek (Pick 20), Brock Boeser (Pick 23), Travis Knoecny (Pick 24), and Sebastian Aho (Pick 35)." |

Pretty impressive what this team has been able to do especially with the injuries to the blue line. 8-1-2 in their last eleven. |

Well documented crap draft for the bruins. The day of the draft they were getting hammered for those three picks if I am remembering correctly… |

No doubt. Although the B's didn't completely strike out, they selected DeBrusk in that mix, it's just amazing the players that were selected after those three picks. |

That’s right forgot about him. I know Barzal’s status as a pick took a hit bcs he had a knee injury the year of the draft but I remember there being shock when the bruins didn’t select him with one of those three picks. |

Funny enough, the Bruins just put Zboril on waivers yesterday. He was one of those three picks.
Imagine the Bruins with the weapons they have now, plus Barzal/Connor/Chabot |

Well yeah when there’s no one from the other team in front of the net. I agree it’s the thing to do. Pretty basic really. - nyisles7
You would think so. Of course Lambert had to stop practice a few times a while back to tell his dmen to stop playing goalie. We do it way too much down low and end up deflecting shots into our own net or screening our own goalie.
Clearing the crease is a while other problem. |

Hard to say what this means for his timeline, but I would guess he's more of a 4-8week absence, which is good news. He's been on the LTIR for 3 weeks now.

Crazy. Can’t expect to always hit of course but it was a pretty good draft. The bruins managed to completely whiff on 2 of 3 picks in a portion of the draft that was strong. |

I've got to say, I've been really pleased with Reilly and Bortuzzo. Our long term lineup could get interesting |

Goes to show you how well run of an organization the Bruins are to weather those type of whiffs and still be top of the conference (during the season at least). |

I've really liked those two also. Neither is perfect but Reilly does a really good job of driving the play and sometimes keeping it simple and just hammering one at the net. |

It is surprising as the Bruins probably do well with the draft overall.

Agreed. That Reilly kid keeps standing out, and I think Fasching has really been hard on pucks, also standing out. Good to see Holmstrom finding his niche….other than Casey, I can’t remember a guy who had multiple shorties (this early in) |

Martin as much as I like him needs to go or moved into a role off ice lol. Was great in his time but the team is better off without him. He doesn't hit as much or fight and I just think they are better with fasching or Gauthier in the lineup. Wally has to be part of a deal at this point.
Said it a few games ago but reilly has really helped this team jumping up in the play or skating it out of trouble |

Agreed on everything you said. We should also look at the fact that we’re watching a future Norris candidate in a young Noah Dobson.

Yea he's a stud no question. Sorokin, Dobson, barzal and horvat are the studs to build around |

I imagine Wahlstrom would be/will be an offseason deal. He takes up no cap room and is a good option to have if someone goes down. |

Maybe, I just don't think there's really any value there. Maybe he just gets chucked in a trade, but they don't really have any other top-6-type extra's waiting in the wings if someone goes down. |
