Maybe, but there's a lot of teams scowering for tenders right now. And Antti has been bad, like really, really bad. I think Comrie would be thought of as a mediocre goalie that might be showing worse due to a bad situation. Raanta would be a mediocre goalie that's showing poorly even in a good situation. Fair? Or you think Raanta's past performances prop him up a bit more vs Comrie who's somewhat unknown still? - QuinnFan
Maybe, but Rantaa has the Career numbers to back it up compared to Comrie. And even as bad as he's been he still has better numbers than Comrie this year. |

That's fair. I think Comrie's sv% is still higher, but the gaa is wild right now. I could see it...but admittedly a little worried he's snatched up. I'm actually surprised CAR or EDM didn't make a late pick offer yet, even as just a shot in the dark at a solution. That speaks to the fact you're right though and Comrie is a known dud. |

I dont think Don Granato is the problem here but I do find it notable that other teams act like losing is a problem by firing their coaches and the Sabres act like a perennial playoff team when they are in fact still in the middle of the longest playoff drought in LEAGUE HISTORY
Any comment Terry |

More about money IMO at this point. Calgary could be flooding the market with some players here soon. |

He may not be the problem.
But he certainly hasn't shown a damn solution. Cannot motivate the team beyond one game. Hasnt been able to fix a PP that has struggled since March of last season. Plays "a not ideal" 11-7. waits way to long to make necessary decisions that every fan can see somehow 15 games before he does. |

But Adams knows damn well he hasn't upgraded the roster enough so he can't just blame it on Granato and move on.
And Terry won't fire his boy Kevyn so we're stuck with the whole crew |

Well the injury excuse is pretty much done at this point so we'll see, maybe they can in fact get their heads out of their collective sphincters and win two games in a row |

They need to go like 11-4 over the next 15. Its realistic if they can show up for more than 1 game at a time.

Why is Ellis as PP coach not toast? At the very least, fire Ellis. Pegula just has to look across the parking lot to One Bills Drive to see the change on the entire team dynamics when they fired Dorsey.
I can't remember what pocast i heard it on but since last December, the Sabres are 29th in the NHL with their PP. What a joke that they haven't at least done something from a coaching perspective to address that fact.
Bring in Berube or Gallant and let them clean out the assistants. Even better, bring them both in. Methinks Ottawa will grab one of them.

That's very Realistic thinking IMO. Especially when they are 1-10-3 after a win. |

Unfortunately this is the world we live in as sabres fans and why no one should have one ounce of trust in management to make this right
The 4th underachieving team to fire their coach is not the sabres, will they be the 5th? Or is the one long term injury the GM couldn't be bothered to address returning going to be enough to right this ship
Probably not

Take my Little Niece down there, she just got her next belt in Karate! Can kick them all in the Nuts as they Walk out for Pre-Game Skate. F@ckers wouldn't be sleeping anymore to open games. |

In all likelihood it's going to take Quinn a bit to get going and we're talking about a guy who had 37 points in 75 games last year. It's not like they're adding prime Pat LaFontaine to this team |
