some clarity about the roster freeze, CF finally put this up.

Sabres can go over the player limit during the freeze but must immediately come into compliance at the end of the freeze. Which is after the Sabres play the Bruins. As long as they have the salary cap space, they can exceed the player limit. Which they do.

So, they can activate all three players, send Murray down (emergency loans is an exemption) and then continue to carry 25 players till next Thursday.
