at the very least, he could have said "we deserve the boos".

No, they care. I know they care. But caring doesn't mean they're mental silly putty, or coached in a way to implement a winning style.

Coaching can make a massive difference in how players approach each game and each shift. Not so much systematically, but they know where they need to be and how they need to react before the puck even gets to them. That's coaching.

Not on this (frank)ing team though. Now they look like Ralph is asking them to have more

Not trying to troll when I say that this all reminds me of the Panthers before Vinny Viola bought the team.

Managing to severely lessen hockey fans’ interest in Buffalo is quite the accomplishment. TPegs will learn that fan apathy is worse than fan anger.

Not familiar with Leach, but I think any change would be positive. We've got half a season to test someone out, they should know by now Donny isn't it.

I really liked Donny too, it's sad. He's a really good human, just an awful Xs and Os guy.

Still think Donnie is being brought down by his staff. They should have built a stronger Assistant staff around him. With Adams supposed plan and building internally you are gonna have a lot of young players playing for you. The Coaching staff shouldn't be as green as the Player's are. This Coaching staff doesn't have the Experience to figure out how to dig themselves out of this hole. Coaching in the NHL is a bit different than the ECHL.

As I heard it, here’s the reason KA hasn’t made a deal to plug some holes in the roster ....Evvry time KA almost has a trade deal done, Gerbe comes in the office kitchen and heats up some chikken wings in the damn microwave.

I can see that, I mean Matt Ellis telling Tage what to do just feels wrong, as an example. They didn't play similar games and Ellis never got PP time. Bales has never helped a goalie become the dude either, from what I can tell. At the same point, the lines and usage are on Donny and that's been bad. A few weeks ago I was hoping they'd fire a couple assistants and help him, no I'm not so sure we shouldn't just clean house. You think we should try new assistants first?

In Gerbe's defense, he told us this summer that the intention was to draft low one last time. We can scream into the Olofsson all we want, but that was the plan. Let the kids acclimate and try to bring in help this offseason. I'm mad about it, but Gerbs was spot on.
