He’s been close to landing a head coaching job a few times. He will get the opportunity very soon. Sabres are not wise enough to make that change. I live in Boston and know he was a finalist for the Bruins job before Montgomery got it

Then why no actual improvements? I mean, I thought Clifton would be better, but it isn't like they brought anything of serious quality in. How can they say they wanted to win, but also bring back Girgs, Okposo, Olo, Jost, Bryson, sign EJ...something doesn't add up.
