Is a Turducken what you call your orgy?
- Mashadar

what I find particularly interesting about Slaf is that he potentially has a ton of upside yet to be discovered. if he's able to adjust his game like that at the NHL level at 19 years old, he could turn out to be pretty damn good with a couple of more years under his belt.
- Pat1993

I had doubts last year, gonna be honest, but this year we are really starting to see what he could become.

And that is a really solid top 6.

Which the Habs are desperate to get / keep.

maybe it's delicious, I'm just under the impression that the process of making and serving it is more special than the taste itself.

well fans in MTL do show a lot of love to players compared to other cities... there's also a lot of pressure and criticism, it comes with the territory I guess.

If you make it yourself, it's probably not worth it. but then you're paying someone to make food for your, which sorta sucks. At least Madden got the TV network to pay for it

Well, if one is going to make such a grandiose and braggadocios claim the key evidence shouldn't be that they cheered very loud for an underachieving player (who has been protected) for finally contributing. He's not a sick kid who was allowed to score on Carey Price on a breakaway following the red vs white scrimmage.

"Yay he did it! Isn't he great, and aren't we the best for acknowledging it!"

yeah you're definitely overthinking this lol.

personally I don't think the expression "best fans in the world" should be interpreted in a literal sense, it simply means that they really like to show their appreciation to players.

also I'm not sure where you're going with that sick kid comparison, the habs have been doing post-game interviews with players in front of fans in attendance for quite some time now, and ovations are a pretty common thing. Anderson scored 2 goals last night, he's been working hard, and the crowd responded the way they do at the Bell, that's it.

Just about every fan base, for every sport in the world does this, but there's no Marilyn Manson-esq self-fellatio about it.

Again, it's not about the cheering, it's people trying to make a spectacle of the cheering

I don't think every fanbase for every sport are the same at all, and I do find there tend to be more special moments involving fans at the Bell than in other NHL arenas. the fact that people wait after the game to hear a player interview is an indication in itself that fans might be more passionate compared to other markets.

to me this sounds like your laffs fandom is showing lol.

Maybe they're staying because they paid to the $200 for youppi to sit in their faces.

Did peep a little bit of the leafs fan. Was very impressed by the ovation the fans gave Martin Jones. Great fans
