No team sports. I still do some public skating from time to time and I get together with a casual band every Friday to Drum. Shore Fishing also takes up a bunch of my time in the Summer and Fall. I still hit the surf once in a blue moon but that’s getting rarer.

I had a lot more time for sports when I was younger and didn't have a Wife and kid along with a full time job. Had my fun though.

I hear ya. I have two jobs, one is full time and the other can be. I don't do the 2nd one for the money.

I've taken up golf again though. I may take up curling again and the girls like fishing. I gave up hockey, football, basketball, baseball and all pretty much around 40 years old.

Now I stay up and feed the wood stove for a couple of hours or until the storm subsides.

I'll lose my personal hotspot probably far too soon.

Ended my last sport at 46 when life became priority. Outta town work made it so. Now onto dialling in the next phase…Retirement. Gotta find activities to replace work & the time it consumed. Can only golf or do so much stuff around the house til winter sets in.

More like lakefront bar & grille in the summer & a couple snowbirds to Mexico. Plenty more time for bbquing. Takes care of eating & drinking leisure’s. Weekend getaways. Bucket list for filler. Drive to Atlantic Canada for one. Gonna look around in Mexico for a place to spend winters down there hopefully.

Get a dog and go for walks/hiking. I found it to be an excellent way to rehab my knees, get in shape and keep a dog active

Never-mind, just seen your response to golfing

No, we actually had multiple offers on our business so we sold to the highest bidder.

It sure takes a lot of drinks to keep a fire going in the dark with complete silence aside from the howling wind

Well, you’re technically correct…..I sold our business as I paid for it and it was legally under my name.

It shows it’s never enough & to keep improving & never be satisfied. Funny how others in here take criticism the wrong way. Setting the highest of bars right on down to the minors is a must.
- Nighthawk

There is criticism that is constructive to help an individual reach their potential, and there is criticism that can demoralize and ruin potential.

A poopty team for a decade has made some structure and player changes, it has paid off 10 fold but every game it still not good enough.
Tocchet he also props up his players, as well as giving constructive criticism. He understands that not every power play is a guaranteed goal. You and QQ should look at the positives as well as the negatives. But to each there own.

I find it baffling that some people were more positive 5 years ago then they are now.

She ran it and whatever’s in the business account is hers, but I’m just clarifying a technicality, I paid for it and the proceeds go to me, which she already agreed to and totally agrees with. She tells me often she hit the jackpot when she met me.
