Vegas doesn't play in country versus country though
- Reubenkincade

No but it is a more realistic exercise of Canada's best against every other country's best.

Friedman says Bear has been spotted at Washington practice facility, figures he may be signed after the freeze. Also thinks they are asking about Kuzmenko.

Always do, I am not like most of the unpatriotic Canucks fans, who cheer for US or Sweden because they have a Canucks prospect on the team.

Most??? You’ve turned into a real drama queen, perhaps some testosterone therapy is in order???

Unless Washinton is giving away their first round pick they don't have a lot to offer.

They have a couple young players that would be decent, although they might be from the wrong country.

Most of their prospects are under six foot so I am not sure you would like them.

Kuzmenko would be the perfect answer to help OV. You still have a couple of hours left PA. Get it done.

This is a best prospect tournament. It is not a country best on best. The best players in the world play in the NHL so IMO this tournament loses a lot of it's luster. We see the same thing year after year. Three teams dominate the world in hockey year after year.

If they held it every four years and shut down the NHL and actually had all the best players then I might feel different but until then it is a cash cow and does not mean a lot. Also Canada is given a huge advantage every year by having the home games in North America year after year and an occasional European location.

Four. Even though they have not been much of a threat for the last decade.

If there were no Canuck prospects I don't think I would even bother watching. That is how gimmicky I think this tournament has dropped. But for those that enjoy the 14 to 0 beating of Latvia enjoy.

It’s the medal rounds that are entertaining to watch. I haven’t looked this up but I don’t think theres more than a handful of 18-19-20 kids in the NHL who are eligible to play, it’s a great showcase for young junior age potential NHL players.

It is a showcase of players. Definitely. This patriotic nonsense is fluff. Why is it played on NA size rinks 9 of 10 years. Why is it not moved from country to country every year.

There is not enough interest from other countries to host it so they send it to Canada where everyone eats it up.

Yes, other countries don’t really care as much as Canada does, for sure. It’s big business in Canada.

TSN made it into what it is. Marketing 101.
And the Tim Horton's consuming Canadians lather themselves in it. Now that the Canucks are entertaining again, I could care less about it.
