Why on earth would you bring him back?
Should we bring back McCabe too?
Bring back Eichel?

Whenever the idea of allowing mascots to talk arises, your posts get used as prime examples that quiet sells.

Accepting this season as a loss removes any pressure from this group. It's a losers mentality and exposes that pressure breaks this group...Adams reads this and thinks, lets add more rookies next year and they will handle the pressure and win. - washedup20
I may have missed it, but where did they say they are accepting this seasons as a loss? |

Sabres were pretty solid, those first 2 Leaf goals shouldn't have went in. |

The one curious point I took from Adams on the radio last night was his comments on options with Mitts, he finished by saying is he the right guy that fits long term or something like that.
Adams ammo for upgrades IMO:
Mitts, Krebs, Rosen, Joker, UPL and the 24' 1st pick - washedup20
There is a couple more I'd consider for the right players...Savoie & Kulich
Mitts & Rosen should get you a very nice player
Joker & 24-1st should get a very nice player
UPL, Savoie, Krebs should get a pretty, pretty good player
Could Mitts, 24-1st, Joker get you R Anderson?
Savoie, Rosen, 24-2nd get you Konecky?
That's a he'll of a start |

Benson will be the best player to ever wear #9 for the Sabres.
So fun to watch and he can’t even drink legally anywhere in North America yet. - Swedish_Jesus

Kisakov, Neuchev, Poltapov there's a lot you could add. - Buff36
Look at those and expect to get anything of use in return is a fool’s errand
Kisakov- 62 GMA in Rochester 13 pts
Neuchev- 19 games in Rochester 5 pts
Poltapov- 33 games in KHL this season, 10 points, appears he was recently demoted to the KHL version of our AHL.
These three Adams draft picks have zero impact or value |

They had conversation and decided if they're going to go down, they will play their way. It's in your Okposo quote. That's admitting defeat, how did you interpret that?

I agree, those trades are enticing, I wonder how close that would be to the real deal.

Im really against trading Mitts. Guys a gamer. Makes you deep at Center. Can play wing. Can fill in on the 1st line. Solid defensively.
Get him signed |

They can be added pieces, of course they wouldn't be the main piece. But a little sweetner. |

6 pieces for 2 guys who arent needed..
Mitts++ for a Dman that'll be priced out in 2 years. Bad idea IMO.
3 pieces for a player we dont need in Konecny... Bad idea IMO.

Adams spent two second round picks and a third for them. I think it’s safe to say our much maligned front office swung and missed on these three Ruskies… probably could have obtained their services in rounds 6-7. I don’t care what the draft projections might have said. Novikov is a 6th rounder that appears to be a great prospect, but you can’t waste early round picks that miss so badly. |

I feel for Levi on AM's goal. He never heard or saw the release, Matthews isn't even trying to shoot there. Dumb luck IMO. First one you're right, but thought Levi battled back and had a good game overall. |

2 of them is their first year in NA.
1 was drafted last year.

You’ll never hit 100% from the floor.
But getting a Peterka and Kulich where they did is pretty damn good.
And I understand Kulich isn’t here yet, but what he’s done at the AHL level at his age is even more impressive than what both Quinn and Peterka did in Roch.
Crazier things have happened, but Kulich safely projects to be as a top 6 forward no doubt. |

I agree, you hit and miss. But these guys are young and still could be used as a piece in a trade, or they wake up. Losing Peca in Rochester hurt, he really helped these players when they came here. Was a huge mistake letting him leave. |
