He's a step up on Evans who can also play wing, Laval will see an influx of talented young players again next year with Beck, Engstrom, Hutson, Mesar, Tuch and Kapanen all coming to Laval.

With Suz and Dach, if he can become a sort of danault light that is a third C, reliable on the pk, able to replace once in a while if there is injuries, it's still pretty satisfying for a 2nd round pick. But it's still a if even though i like his versatility.

for Beck I think the worst-case scenario is that he becomes a decent third liner capable of going up the lineup once in a while when needed, which isn't a bad thing to have at all.

best case is he surprises us with his development and becomes top 6 material.
