WTF the arena has to have somebody come from thunder Bay to help a opposing player what the hell… - dozerD10
Not an opposing player - Columbus is the home team.
Speculation on twitter is there was a lot of blood in the hallway. |

Or better yet a "man was I way off on Willy. In retrospect my takes on Willy when I wanted to move him for a 4D were utterly assinine" - jribout

I agree with none of this. And that’s ok.
I suggest you look at playoff stats before making that claim.
Marner is not overpaid at all. He’s the best RW in the NHL. - Arctic_AARDVARK

Pretty sure there are no Marner haters. Just people replying to the one person that takes shots at Willie whenever he can. No matter how ridiculous the take. - jribout
Oh i wasnt included those peeps or those responses.

I like both players but the constant seeming need to
Pick one is nauseating. - Cush29
I think he's "picking" one he thinks is better in an effort to justify a trade to balance out the $ from F to D.
Marner is a turnover machine...it's the way he plays. I don't think having Marner with JT is a good thing because JT is a turnover machine too and Bertuzzi is too slow to save them both.
The ONLY reason I like Marner with Matthews is because Matthews is defensively much better than JT, doesn't turn it over much and Knies is fast AF to cover for both of them....if he could stop turning over in our end when he's against the half wall.
If I had to pick which one to trade, I really don't think I could. Honestly.
That's why I've always chosen JT. So many moves could've been made if JT was never signed. I get why Dubas did, but I don't think he ultimately should've since we had the young upcoming talent that needed $.
I would've kept Kadri and sterioded out the D.

Dubas overpaid him to make up for the 3m in bonuses he lost with lou. |

I would understand if based on what I posted you thought I disliked Marner, but I do not. I used to be frustrated with the Nylander hate, but now I find it very entertaining.

I agree with alot of this but Kadri kinda had to go. He could not stop seeing the red mist and taking penalties and suspension at the most inopportune times.
I actually think Kadri and Marner have a bit of the same issue - they are Toronto kids and care so much they struggle when the chips are down. Just in different ways - Kadri with penalties and suspensions and Marner gets tight and struggles in tight playoff style hockey.
Bunting maybe a bit of the same.
