The bruins weren't playing so I took the next best yellow team.

Elias Pettersson (D) led all Swedish skaters with 21:07 of ice time and provided his typical no-nonsense brand of hockey today.

He won't wow you with all star offensive numbers, but boy, is he an effective two-way defender.

Gavrikov from LA is the name I see other people referring to him as a comparable.

What a great Christmas! No stress, just the 4 of us having fun and eating delicious meals. 24th ( lobster rolls and seafood chowder) , 25th Cornish hens, 26th Prime Rib.

All kinds of leftovers, still 1 bowl of chowder left.

Hope you've all had a good one as well.

He was very solid... physical too. Doesnt seem to go very far past the oppositions blue line. Willander activated a few times... I get the feeling he's more of a two way than D Petey...

Finns been lacking some high end talent the last couple years. Kontas Helenuis looked good yesterday for a slight of frame winger.

He has been streaky scorer in Liiga this year as well. Pretty consensus as a top 10 draft pick though.

Ranked #7 by CONSOLIDATED RANKING
Ranked #8 by ELITEPROSPECTS.COM
Ranked #6 by DAILY FACEOFF
Ranked #9 by THE HOCKEY NEWS
Ranked #7 by TSN/BOB McKENZIE
Ranked #4 by MCKEEN'S HOCKEY
Ranked #4 by TSN/CRAIG BUTTON
Ranked #6 by DOBBERPROSPECTS
Ranked #11 by SMAHT SCOUTING

I don't think I'd take him as a top 10 pick. Maybe 15-20 range.

Edit: This draft is either falling flat or players like Michael Brandsegg-Nygard and Helenius are the "new" NHL player.

I don't see a top 15 pick from this player either but most seem to.

He has been more visible, so far in this tournament than Helenius.
I expect to see a fair amount of defensemen taken early in the draft

Broncos getting ready to cut Russell Wilson, thanks for the picks!

Sources: The #Broncos are, in fact, benching Russell Wilson for the final two games, preserving their financial flexibility for the offseason.

Jarrett Stidham starts.

One more season then they are going to move on from him.

I'm not even a smart NFL fan but I knew that trade wasn't going to work out very well for Denver.

Seattle got some parts for him but honestly nothing too significant came from the players or picks they got. Hindsight and perfect world, yes the Broncos got slaughtered.

Getting Cross and Witherspoon are huge wins from that trade. Spoon in the DROY convo. Both big players for the team going forward, and young. Mafe coming along too. Impact players for sure
