DeSmith gets the start I just heard so that means Demko gets a full 10 days off...

Last time he was given a break like this was leading up to and on the Eastern Canadian road trip when it was 1 in 8... He was lights out before and average after. Somehow a narrative was built that the fall off was from too many starts when he played 2 in 10 days.

Maybe this break does the opposite. He's getting wins but he's good for a iffy goal or two most games since his last long break.
