Using Granato post game pressers only, this season the team needs to find:
- conviction
- decisiveness
- directness
- compete
- realization that compete is needed
- grind
Just say Synergy meatball.
His post games are so defeating, he is too comfortable and confident for being the worst coach in professional sports |

It's amazing that a Hockey Organization that seems to have some Talent throughout can't get a GM or Coach worth anything to come here. You would think some would like the chance to see what they could do with the young talent. Pegula has really driven this Franchise to Extreme Joke status. |

Anyone want to talk about how Dahlin might be the best goalie on the team? A couple nice kick saves at the end there. |
|
|
|
Ruff and Ted Nolan had less talent and made the playoffs? |

Levi was run over last night and the team did nothing.

Adams really let Hope get in the way of what actually was needed to be done. Success just doesn't come to you, you have to go out and get it. Only things Adams got was a few Conversations and a bunch of Reach Arounds. |

And I think Granato and Adams have destroyed Cozens confidence. From flopping him around the lineup to his GM calling him out for his truthful remark. |

Let's face it people..... There are absolutely no players on the Sabres present roster or within the system that can help this team. There is an organizational rot that permeates the whole organization from top to bottom. This team will not see the playoffs for at least another decade.... IF they still exist... |

The chant should be āsell the teamā
Nothing will change with Terry as the president of the organization and heās too but hurt from Patty to ātrustā someone that actually knows the game. So the only logical conclusion is for him to sellā¦ - Gr8daygo
This. Even if Adams & Granato were let go they would just be replaced with a couple of yes men. This team will remain a disaster as long as Terry remains the owner. I despise him as the owner of this team.

There having discussions on the PP. Well that's fabulous, how about changing the Offensive Assistant who handles the PP. - Buff36
Granato afterward harped on his usual watchword of āpace,ā but also emphasized not enough āgrindā against Boston. He did, however, reveal he has been taking a more hands-on approach with power-play coach Matt Ellis, the former Sabres forward who recorded one power-play assist in his NHL career and hadnāt coached professional hockey until Granato hired him 228 games ago. |

There's 2 players that have done nothing but losing in there careers here, and they are in Leadership positions. How do you Teach young kids how to become a Winning Hockey team when you have never done it. They NEED some Leadership that knows what it takes to WIN. |

My Hockey Thoughts For Dummies!
So how is a Young player like Cozens or JJ or Benson suppose to go up to Retired Man and SirFallsAlot and ask them for advice on how to break the funk, stop Losing. How would those 2 answer it, Ahhhhhhhhhh well Dylan and Jason you see let's go into the Video room and Study film on Tampa Bay. Cause to tell you the truth I Couldn't Tell You.
Losing Breeds Losing and until you cut the Head of that Culture, that's what you get Losing. |

Credit to Joevthree for this thought: The Sabres badly need to trade for the modern version of Chris Drury.
Makes sense, with how much of a positive impact Drury had on the organization taking winning seriously during his brief 3 seasons with the team.
As an old school Yankee fan from when they sucked, I did not know this about Drury, but I love it!
>>> With his previous numbers (37 with Colorado and 18 with Calgary) both taken in Buffalo, Drury switched to 23 in honor of his childhood hero, New York Yankees first baseman Don Mattingly. |

They didn't send Benson to world juniors so they could bench him and still put out a losing effort. This is valuable experience he is getting vs playing for his country. |

They could have used Peca to develop their own version of a modern Drury, that would be a strong move using the internal approach. |

Im about ready to start hate watching
Overwhelming evidence adams does not deserve to continue running this roster and coaching staff. There isn't a thing that will change this year with him calling the shots.
Only thing we can hope for is a complete utter train wreck and the team to quit on the coach and themselves 20 more times. There can be no excuses to retain this management - ieetbred
Iāve been saying the same thing for most of this season. I have a morbid curiosity to see how low the Sabres have to go in order to make the drastic changes necessary. Adams
Needs to go. Immediately. As much as I know Granato is not a leader for a team that desperately needs one, Adams and his reluctance to try and improve the team is past the point of failure. Iām afraid the remainder of this season will be exactly as itās been thus farā¦ the team will beat a top team and this thread will once again get excited and the next game we play like last night. I expect nothing to change, and this season will reach new levels of incompetence and disappointment. Listening to Pang interview Granato last night was hilariousā¦ Granato has no answers, he is a meek, milquetoast, spineless and his players have taken on his persona. Yes- I hate watch every game, because thatās all this team offers |

Whatever was discussed between Lafontaine and Pegula and the decision made from then on has destroyed this team. Pegula has burned every bridge in the hockey world.
The Sabres are a result of a stubborn billionaire who believed he could beat the game. |
