I don’t see them moving the Sabres. There are other’s higher up on that list.

Buffalo is also one of the most passionate hockey towns in the nhl, despite over a decade of futility and lack of playoffs the city is consistently one of the top tv markets when it comes to Stanley cup viewerships.

If the team was actually competent, they’d have less of an attendance issue. You’d think the guy that owns a winning football team, winning lacrosse team and a dog poop nhl team would figure out, winning sells tickets.

The bottom line is Buffalo is and always will be a strong hockey market despite the apathy Terry has driven into the fan base. The nhl knows this and it wouldn’t move them easily.

the owner, gm and coach do not know it and they believe once girgens comes back they will become a decent team

The roster, It’s not built well. Terrible top to bottom. Major moves need to be made. It doesn’t work and it’s not going to work. I hope Adams can at least see that.
We can have 2 lines that don’t work defensively, but we need 2 solid lines that are miserable to ply against to counter it.

I dont want adams doing it and that adds another layer, but its pretty manageable.
Obviously a top 4 dman and probably 2 forwards, one top 6 and one middle 6. The 4th line and 5/6 dmen can be altered pretty easily. The problem is this process should have started last offseason if not sooner.

My bigger question is can or will they get a coach in here that grabs the locker room by the balls and yanks. It will absolutely be a difference maker if any number of these forwards learn or develop a will to go to the net. Same as not a single dman on this roster willing to clear the front of the net.
