Seeing the Florida Panthers having 5 of their 6 defenseman playing 20 or more minutes a night makes me wonder if the Sabres approach, essentially playing Dahlin and Power big minutes, Samuelsson playing right at 20, and none of the other 3 playing more than 17 minutes a night, is part of the problem.

Another example of getting the good players on the team more support, not less.

Also, can the coach try something new with the defense lineup instead of trotting the same (frank)ing pairings night after night?

Would you trade Samuelsson for Nick Paul ?

Not supporting your players has probably had a hand in making Dahlin not reach his total potential yet. Basically learning by himself as he went. And there doing the same thing to Power and Levi. Coaching may Suck for this team, but the Leadership and mentorship on the ice blows to.
