Morgan Frost is not a player who is going to make his living by screening goalies around the net. It's great that he has that ability and can make that play when it arises but his game is carrying and distributing the puck while being a decent goal scorer. That's his forte and the strength of his game offensively. |

PP1 I'd try:
Konecny Couturier Farabee
Frost Sanheim
Implement the constant in-motion rotating wingers to align for a shot but not committing to Konecny or Farabee - letting the movement of the puck and the subsequent reaction of the defensive box affect how that shot is set up, with Couturier and the other non-shooting wing collapsing down for a rebound.

The Flyers need to simplify on the PP. Frost is the best playmaker they have at forward but he's not a proven PP QB. Neither are any of the defensman. Ristolainen is probably the most accomplished. The need to be a shooting PP with traffic at the net.

they lack that net presence in front of the net. Had JVR and didn't even use him properly.
A coaching change on the PP is long overdue. Coach isnt holding his staff accountable. |

On a related note, when adjusted for ice time (points/60), Farabee is the Flyers' most efficient point producer this season as well as the 5-on-5 points leader. The Flyers' top five in P/60 are as follows:
1. Farabee (4.17 P/60)
2. Owen Tippett (3.68 P/60)
3. Travis Konecny (3.46 P/60)
4. Morgan Frost (3.27 P/60)
5. Bobby Brink (3.12 P/60)
Frost would rank higher but has had three assists taken away by subsequent changes in scoring decisions: 11/3 at Buffalo, 12/9 at Colorado, 12/21 vs. Nashville. - bmeltzer
shh Bill don't let this leak too much I'm trying to collect farabee cards on the cheap |

No poop.
I literally gave a description of what he’s been doing when he doesn’t have the puck. |

Which, obviously, is why Tortorella has him in front of the net on the PP |

I don’t think Torts has him there anymore but I do like that Frost is willing to do so after Frost was asked to do this. Let’s be honest, his forte hasn’t been working this season. So what do you do when the usual game is ineffective? You try other things. |

Finally, I now know what Torts was doing in the press box all those games last year. Building rapport with the official scorers to further his campaign against giving Frost more playing time.
Pretty crazy this happened to him three times. Was there ever an explanation why? - TobyFlenderson
You know what I think. I think they should trade Frost to Chicago for Bedard. I know the Flyers are taking a gamble. I think it’s worth the risk. |

I think it’ll be tough to get any points tonight vs Vancouver. Very strong young team. Ersson will have to continue his strong play. |

He had 4 assists on 11 goals?
I’d be upset if he was nowhere near the score sheet. Sounds fine to me. |
