It was a chickenpoop move to sit Kampf though. I mean, yeah, he made a mistake, but overall, there were not a lot and we kept them to roughly 20 shots. Samsonot is terrible, so Kampf paid the price. Whatever Keefe.

Should look back at a few posts at the beginning of the season, pretty sure the D has been a problem from day (frank)ing one and for the past few years, and G questionable at best.

Team is too top heavy to address the issues on D or the G. Period.

If the are't trading anything of value (or high Cap hit) to fix the D or G then they're just wasting time with some of the most incredible players they have ever had.

The window isn't opening, it's closing.

Going for the Cup means change MUST happen. If it doesn't, window will close without any success and continued early playoff exits for 4 more years until Matty leaves.

PS, Samsonov sucked balls last night more than the D. He's done doing anything of value in a Leafs jersey. He's gone full Campbell. Yeet his broken ass to the Marlies. Ride Jones and Hildeby until Woll is ready then take the best two of the three and pray.

Wasn't the best idea to try to stick handle through 4 defenders though. Looks great when it works. It rarely works*
