According to confessed Canadiens fan and de facto member of the Habs PR team, Pierre LeBrun, Hughes was fighting teams off because they were throwing so many 1st rounders and elite prospects for Anderson last summer.

Maybe the same this year?

Anderson has been their best player this season. even with 0 goal in his first 20 games. lol

at least he started to score once again but teams probably hate his contract as well as your helmet

they could have played a more game but that's about it imo. surprising lost, but not that surprising.

No Bedard, Fantilli, Benson, Korchinski, even Wright...

That was a very ordinary edition of Team Canada, expectations were not very high

saint-louis doesn't hate any of the players

its hard to say right now, cause he's been used mostly on the 4th line and on the pk. Saint-Louis wants him to learn how to play without the puck. In general thats always the harder part for a rookie or young player

he barely made the team this season and if he did not have to clear waivers, would have been sent in the AHL instead

He looks like a guy with some potential, but time will tell. Fans in here have no patience and always female dog, so the rebuild needs to happen with a lot of drama.

He may get more ice time if and when they deal Monahan, but once RHP and Newhook come back, that wont help him

maybe they move Anderson this summer as well and he gets more ice time by then, I dont know

Slafkovsky is on the first line right now, but he had to earn it even as a first overall pick. As it should be.

Cool- thanks! He was what 35th overall a cliple years back- was just curious about his progression.

In 2018, yes

Habs have a lot more prospects coming up on defense than forwards, so thats a plus for him

Is he the next Lehkonen or the next Jan Bulis, only time will tell
