I wonder why they are so quick to want Brady and Timmy on separate lines. They seem so effective together. But, it would be interesting to see Timmy play with a guy who had a release and a shot like Heatley. For my eyes, Timmy is ahead of Spezza on the development curve. Remember how the Sens kept sending Spezza back down to the minors in the beginning.

Jacques Martin kept sending Spezza to the minors. The idea being, so he'd learn to play some damn defense. He was a turn over machine.

I'm kinda against most of these trades. I like this team mostly as assembled. I just think they need a consistent coaching message and structure.

It was interesting to see how Kubalik suddenly remembered how to backcheck when he got placed on the fourth line. Tarasenko also moved down to third line after a poor defensive effort in the Colorado game. Good to see the coaching staff start to demand a full effort from players.
As for our defencemen, big changes need to be made!!
