So Pelech has it on his stick looking to pass it out loses the puck in a second Nucks make 3 passes back and forth and Mayfield should have played it differently.
Come on guys give me a (frank)ing break. I know we hate Mayfield but come on! - nyisles7
They were both terrible on it, but yeah, Pelech gets the blunt of the blame there. That part is obvious. That said, Mayfield would have been better suited to go right through Pettersson on that. The multiple whiffs looked comical |

Sorokin has made countless giant saves this year. At times he makes some saves on would-be goals look so easy, I think folks take it for granted. That said, he has not been as good this year. - keaner17
Agree.
I think he’s tired. Played a lot of games especially lately.
Probably the most workload he’s had in a half a season and his career.
Could also be shell shocked with all the rubber he’s seen under Lane’s defensive structure. |

Man as good as The Nucks offense is they are really good in their own zone. Quick transitions and all 5 players on the same page. |

A little hope.
And then a (frank)ing penalty which looked like another soft one. Both teams did that all night. |

Islahkov selected to the AHL Allstar game. Kid has been playing well. - Cptmjl
Would love to see the kid get a shot with the big club. After watching the isles play the Canucks last night, feeling more and more like changes need to be made, and more speed and youth added in the lineup. Realize this isn’t profound news, but there are two or three guys who are just flat out too slow. |

His biggest knock is his size. Hasn’t seem to hampered his game so far not sure if that’ll be the case at the NHL level though…. He’ll get his shot at some point this season. |

I just looked it up, didn't realize he's only 5'8. Although I think Vancouver had three or four guys on their roster that size and they all fly. I'm still willing to give him a chance. Isles are too slow. |

Yeah sure why not. I would assume he’ll be getting called up at some point this season. Especially if these guys continue playing the way they are on top of injuries. |

4 wins in their last 10…and 1 in last five. Had a nice run for a while, but wheels starting to fall off. Need to inject some life. Not sure Iskakov is the answer but they need to figure this out quick. |

Not sure he is either in fact I doubt he is. Doesn’t hurt to give him a few reps though to create a little competition within the lineup at worst. |
