I bought up Weight's name because when he was coach the Islander's D sucked ass. Very much like the defense now under Lame Lambert, optional. Crappy as stupid and sh1tty as he was he did try to play a defense first type of game.

I think they went on a streak where they had points in 10 or so games in a row and that may have saved him. That said I agree with you, Lou needs to address the elephant in the room at this point. These loses are an embarrassment and doesn't do much for the teams confidence.
Go get Dean Evason. He will bring the D structure they need back imho.

This is worse because after a sh1t loss like that you want to see them come out with a snarl and honestly the first period the team was going through the motions. The second was the worst period of hockey I have seen them play in a long long time. Inexcusable!
