I am not cranky. I am actually laughing at all the chest beaters today. One thing I have learnt over the years is all of HB has a lot people that think they know more than everyone. They are not involved in professional hockey at all but legends in their own mind.

Good job to stop up in front of the net and get into a scoring position.

What is even funnier is how some seem to think this team has actually won something, while only playing less than half a season. Even funnier than that is people believing that this is almost the identical team as last season, when they have added a decent back-up goalie, 5 new defensemen, and 3 contributing forwards.

Counting is hard, I'll give you that! We added 3 defensemen, 3 forwards and a goalie. And one of those was just added a month ago. Which means 2/3rds is the same team, led by the same core(yes, the same one you poop on with many others). We haven't won anything, but this is clearly a playoff team and a much better core group of players than you and many other posters were claiming ad nauseum.

I don't run the team. I would try some players to see how they do from Abby. Again, I don't make the decisions, that's up to Tocchet who plays with who. I never said they had a legit top 6 player, I said I would like to see if they have one or not. Like they have done with Hoglander/PDG. If none work out, then use assets to acquire a more legit top 6.

Also I know that you believe there is no one in Abby that is better. Shockingly, I don't share that opinion with you.

I'm ok if they do add, but realistically getting in to the playoffs is good for this year. The idea of spending a bunch of assets in the first year of our window seems a bit rushed imo. They need to get experience, play and win/lose in playoffs and then grow. Enjoy the ride, but I doubt they change too much as Rutherford has stated "our window is just opening"
